Bridging the Gap

Weekly Food Distribution

Weekly Food Distribution

Every week, Bridging the Gap provides nutritious food to hundreds of families across Coweta County. What started as a simple way to meet immediate needs has grown into one of our core programs, ensuring that no neighbor goes hungry.

Our food distribution takes place every Saturday, serving between 500–750 families each week. Families receive a variety of groceries — including fresh produce, meats, pantry staples, and other essentials — to help stretch their budgets and put healthy meals on the table.

This program wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated volunteers and the generosity of local partners, businesses, and donors. Together, we’re working to fight hunger and bring hope to our community.

How You Can Get Inolved:

I don’t know what I would have done without Bridging the Gap. The weekly food distribution has helped me keep food on the table for my kids during some really tough times. The volunteers are always kind and treat us with dignity.  It feels like the whole community is behind us.
